GCE Pure Granular Ballistic Rubber captures ammunition intact and prevents splatter and ricochet and 99% of airborne lead. It is used for:

  • reclining bullet traps and back-stops
  • as a filler for the GCE Ballistic Containment Boxes (patent pending).

The rubber is delivered in tote bags or bulk according to requirement. We also have the facility to pump the granular rubber into or out of traps for simplified cleaning and maintenance.

GCE Granular Rubber is delivered in a clean state and is warranted to be free of cloth or metal. After use, it can be recovered, separated and washed, and recycled for re-use.

GCE granular rubber can be fire-retardant treated. The treatment involves coating with aluminium hydroxide which is an effective fire-suppressant.This treatment will adhere to the granules even during washing and recycling General

Rubber Spec

GCE Pure Granular Ballistic Rubber is recovered rubber that is cleaned of metal and cloth contaminant. It is graded and fire-retardant treated according to requirement.

Weight

Delivered in 1 tonne tote bags.

Dimensions

Graded with selected dimensions between 1-3mm and 15-19mm.

Fire Retardant

All rubber is coated with two coats of flame retardant spray, suitable for natural and synthetic materials and for internal and external use. The retardant cannot be washed out of the substrate once applied.

Warranty

Warranted to be clean and free of cloth or metal on delivery.
