CLEANING POWER

Multi-purpose, concentrated, low sudsing, phosphate free cleaning formula quickly lifts and suspends metals, grease, oil, dirt, paint dust and firing range residue in a single application. Each litre yields 10-20 litres of cleaner and covers 500-1,000 square feet. Ideal for use in abatement, for precleaning, final cleanup, concrete cleaning, carpet cleaning, general maintainance and throughout the plant. For best results recover cleaning solution with a wet vacuum cleaner.

Independent tests were performed on the concrete floors of a lead acid battery plant after a fire. The buildings were 20 years old and contained 200,000 kilogrammes of lead. Prior to demolition, the concrete was decontaminated with D-Lead® All Purpose Cleaner diluted 10:1 with a wet floor scrubber. In one cleaning, lead was reduced 99.9%, antimony was reduced to non-detectable levels, barium level was reduced by 80% and arsenic was reduced by 89%. This resulted in non-hazardous concrete ready for disposal.

COMPARISON OF SURFACE CLEANERS
D-Lead® surface cleaners were compared at a lead processing facility on a randomly selected lunch table. After plant staff had cleaned the lunch tables as usual, wipe samples were collected and analyzed. Then the entire table was cleaned with D-Lead® All Purpose Cleaner and wipe samples were collected. The entire table was then cleaned a third time with D-Lead® Final Clean and wipe samples were collected. One square foot samples were collected on adjacent areas of the table. Results are shown after cleaning with each product in micrograms of lead per square foot. Results confirmed that D-Lead® Surface Cleaners produce fast, thorough, effective cleaning and decontamination in one pass.
